About surgical diseases
At our hospital, we provide general surgery, including trauma and breast cancer, and gastrointestinal surgery, including gastric cancer and esophageal cancer.
general surgery
trauma
Trauma refers to damage to tissues or organs caused by external forces (either mechanical, physical, or chemical). In the field of plastic surgery, we deal with trauma to bones, muscles, tendons, nerves, blood vessels, etc., mainly on the face and extremities. This article focuses specifically on the most common skin and soft tissue injuries (commonly referred to as wounds) that occur in daily life.
Wounds are classified as follows depending on the cause of the injury and the condition of the wound site.
-
incision (cut)
-
Abrasions (scrapes)
-
Crush wounds (skin tears)
-
puncture wound
-
Bite (bite)
Each of these categories requires different treatment approaches and care.

breast cancer
Breast cancer is a cancer that develops in mammary gland tissue, and generally originates from the milk ducts, but some may also develop from the lobules of the mammary gland. Additionally, it can originate from breast tissue other than the mammary glands. As the disease progresses, cancer cells invade surrounding tissue and sometimes spread through the blood and lymph. Areas where metastasis is particularly likely to occur include lymph nodes near the breast, bones, liver, lungs, and brain.

Digestive surgery
stomach cancer
Although its incidence has been decreasing recently, it remains one of the most common cancers in Japan. It has been revealed that gastric cancer is more likely to develop due to infection with Helicobacter pylori, and the incidence will continue to decrease in the future as the infection rate of Helicobacter pylori decreases and eradication treatment is performed. This cancer can usually be treated effectively if detected and treated early, but once it progresses and metastasizes, the prognosis remains grim.
